I forgot to post this last evening... this is a perfect place to put it:

NPR interview with Brink Lindsey of the CATO Institute, regarding this article he wrote for the New Republic (12/4/06 - available to subscribers only, one of which I am not).

I think Mr. Lindsey has an excellent point. The positions of the Christian Taliban (a phrase I just now coined for the "religious" Right) should be abhorrent to Libertarians, especially the intellectuals among them. They also, after all, share their love of liberty and Constitutional rights more with the Left than the Right, as each side has evolved in the past two decades.
