The subject line originally read "confusion, thy etc...", but it's not clear to me whether it's you that's confused, or that you're a carrier for confusion and induce it in other people. But that's neither here nor there....
Don't worry about my perspective. You three are hardly the most AC people in the world, just the local poster kids for the phenomenon. You gotta admit it worked like charm to send out a pulse of AC, and measure the strength of the echoes.
I confess to a little puffery in describing you three as "the top three contenders" as if I'd actually predicted it. I'm not surprised, but I was only sure of Tom because of our many past arguments on the topic.
Looks you didn't get far enough down this branch. We took the subject further, and it seems like TB and I aren't irrevocably far apart on the abstract bits about the psychological factors that act as modifiers of ideology. Trying to relate it to real current events gets a little dicey, though...;-) I would say that on the scale we've worked out, you'd rate fairly high in both a willingness to submit to authority as well as a high dose of dogmatism.
I give you full marks for endless creativity of expression, Tech, but in the end what you always defend is the "natural order of things", with the better class of people deservedly on top, and poor and wicked people deservedly on the bottom. Everyone and everything in its rightful place, and where every little boy can aspire to grow up and become a daring secret agent and confidante of Presidents, not to mention dally with beautiful women with numerical names.
Ahem...what did you call me, again? Me??
