That is the difference.

For those who believe even the rhythym method is a sin and abortion an abomination shall inherit the earth - or what's left of it.

Religion has the major say in that matter - not agrarian communities or poverty.

And to be blunt Mexico is so poor, backwards and desperate thanks to the Spanish, their missions and their Catholicism.

Religions don't get rich & powerful distributing condoms to their flocks.

And the masses that were ignorant dolts in the 12th-19th centuries are now WILLFULLY ignorant dolts in the 20 and 21st centuries.

That's why their God punishes them so much - he hates idiots and has BILLIONS of them drooling at him. Look at what he did to Job after he forgot to feed his goat one day? Look at what he's done to Mexico! He must be really ticked off!
