We must strive for justice with mercy in the present, and improving justice with mercy to affect the lives of our descendents in the future.
You may choose to stand back and "observe" if you wish. You may support the imposition of order on distant peoples while ignoring the lack of justice and mercy experienced by those around us as a suitable trade-off. Not me.
