You claimed the definition of 'lie' as I used it was not in the dictionary- in fact, you were very insulting and condescending about that.... The fact is the statement of untruth IS a lie, even if the person making the statement believes it. YOU are the one that brought up the dictionary, so dont whine if I use it to show you were wrong...
You screwed up, Robert S., you can admit it or keep trying to weasel out of it- You are the one that claimed my use of the word was not in the dictionary, I presented evidence to the contrary...
My personal opinion is that you will ignore all this and just concentrate on attacking me... like this...
I see by the timestamps it took you four days to shop around for a definition from which you could cherrypick an obscure alternate usage that could be spun to maybe sort of suggest you aren't entirely full of [it].
Seriously, dude- google the term- ALL I did was google 'LIE' and 'dictionary'... look it up moron, surely you have a dictionary- no cherry picking was needed which is why I provided more than one source- My use of the term, "lie" - is generally accepted, Merriam-Webster agrees, why don't you?
You said: "And there, bunkie, I got ya: My definition of "lie" can be found in a dictionary. Where in the universe did you get yours?"
I answered you and gave you links- cut out the BS, and just admit you were wrong.
Your condecending attitude is becoming quite intolerable....
(And in that tone I expect another insulting post that addresses none of the facts I offered)
Robert, admit it...
