Then I did a google search on him to read his qualifications and then I read more about him. Didn't take me long to figure out exactly where he was coming from.
I'm tired of challenging people to understand something that they've never seen. My perspective comes from experience, so I'm just trying to defend MY perspective. Frankly, my gentle prodding and often long-winded defenses have been for naught here. Certainly the personal attacks from you-know-who are not worth the effort. Actually, I find myself back here hammering away to the same old bunch about the same old issues.
Admit it, it's getting old.
But I have to laugh.
One day, one of you might find yourself in the same position I found myself in thirty years ago, and that was standing in my back yard with three of my neighbours watching a spinning disc do unusual manoevers and approaching us at a close distance no further than a a hundred and fifty feet away from us. I wish it on all of you.
Try and put your life back together after that. LIVE YOUR LIFE after that. Go look it up in some book. Tell your family. Try and tell your other neighbours. Tell your friends, and then wait for the ridicule, disbelief and all the other attendent BS you'll encounter. Frankly, it's just easier to keep it to yourself, and know what the media and self-styled jack-asses like Scott Lilienfeld think before you even open your mouth.
