You know me better than that to throw those concepts around with me.
Just not gonna work.
We're trying to arrive at some common ground here.
I'm trying to describe to you something I saw with my own eyes. Nobody believes me. They make fun of me AND the subject. So what is there left to say?
Do I "believe' in ufos? That's what people often ask me.
And I stop them short.
If you tell them it's not a belief, but something you've seen with your own eyes, you're screwed.
It doesn't matter what you say, or what you believe; people aren't going to understand you anyway.
The only ones who don't ask, don't ridicule, or who don't laugh are usually the ones who've experienced something themselves. It's like a club with a secret handshake. I might add that the ones I've met and discussed the subject at length with are pretty normal and often very intelligent people.
I was just trying to find a concept you could understand and brought up the analogy of faith. If you're an agnostic, you wouldn't get it anyway.
End of story.
