How very dry.
That statement reminds me of someone, ...someone who never quite "got it". But that's the type of life you want to lead.

Someday, something might happen to you that will make you wonder.
Then again that day may never come.
I do agree with you on the dangers of religion and it's hierachal structure. As for those five things you consider dogma, "conversations with God" is nothing more than an individual talking to himself to realize his own reality or spirituality. They are not confined to their four walls and instead probe a little deeper, or a little further out.

As for visions of angels, that's a whole other thread, one which can be backed up by other people's visions. It may be what we "expect" to see in those divine moments when we need something like that show up, or maybe they do exist on another plane that overlaps on ours, and all the accounts are real.
