"Spirituality exists only in the absense of ego-driven pursuits"

That's a good one Bowz, and I liked your first paragraph. Yes, I think that kind of living is a spiritual life. At least it's a noble and harmless way to live, and if it brings you personal satisfaction, then that is your own personal spirituality.

In my life, I guess I constantly probe deeper into my own connection with the universe as a form of spirituality. I don't necessarily like what I see....sometimes in people, sometimes as a journey in the flesh on this awesome planet, sometimes in the struggles to be free. By this I mean that balance where peace reigns.

Religion doesn't give me that peace.
I have faith, and that has held me in times of crisis, but spirituality?
I have found my moments of peace are when I am one with nature.
When the setting and timing are perfect, and my mind and heart are free. When I truly feel I am a child of the god of all that is.
When I feel blessed to be alive and I vibrate with all the living things around me....the trees, the land, the birds, the clouds, the sunshine.
(This is harder than I thought).
