Ha! I didn't go searching at all. I was looking for Fisher audio components and found out that they had been bought out by Sanyo almost two decades ago. Since the Fisher site had all of 12 products available I went to the parent homesite and was reminded that man is a blight upon the planet.
I'm not like Tom, I don't surf the web looking for political content. My travels brought me to the UPS and SANYO sites - and that's why it bothers me somewhat, because I've seen this film before, ending and all, and know how it plays out.
The rebel rousers are good at creating and shaping public opinion. History is replete with examples of whole generations being led around by the wills of the few. The left sees the right and screams about illegal wars, conservative tyranny, rigged elections, etcetera and yet they are only too willing too enforce their code of ethics on their neighbors. It's pertinent to remind folks that the Nazional-Sozialismus weren't the real German government - they were the rebel rousers who overran, infiltrated and shouted down the existing government using brainless, angry youth to do their bidding. They were going to "save the world" from the capitalists, jews and industrialists. The parallels between an angry Al Gore and an Angry Hitler are quite compelling; and those children who are forced to watch his film in schools are the Gore Youth. You and Buck will make good
Your dad has been right all along Robert, it's time you quit being a rebel and listen to the man. ;-)
I can only wish all you rabid leftists would return to your bohemian origins and recite bad poetry in Greenwich Village. The leftists of yesteryear seem so peaceful next to the militant, angry, thought police of today.
;-)
PS
The 21st century so far has been far less than impressive. I'd hold off on using the 20th century as a derogatory term until something good has actually come out of the 21st century.
Flame » in reply to rabid, frothing at the mouth, yapping frantically...
