Brainwashing such as "Why Mommy is Democrat" is nothing new. The entire California Text Series for children is chock full of such political brainwashing and has been for decades. The schoolwork of today is filled with stuff that reads like the Decmocratic platform.
Brainwashing kids early are what the Democrats do best. Only when kids actually start thinking for themselves do they realize they've been suckered by the proletariat - and a willing dupe/stooge/puppet for X number of years.
For teachers and bureaucrats it's quite simple; if you feed at the trough, all you give a darn about is expanding that trough. That's the Democrats theme song: unending selfishness, authoritarianism and power - justified and masked as "enforced caring".
