Speaking of manufacturing baroque insults

Uh, SDAI-Tech1, did you do any research to back up your slams against UPS, or is your entire fantasy just an extended riff inspired by the single datum of that image?

Not that I have any particular desire to defend UPS, because they've pissed me off many times just as they piss off everybody else. But it takes only about 30 seconds to locate the facts and figures about their conversion to an alternative fuel fleet. Like: 19,647 low-emission vehicles currently, out of a fleet of 94,542 vehicles; and forecast to rise through natural attrition and replacement.

You really seem to have constructed this fantasy in a complete vacuum. Has it penetrated your Winger bubble that your beloved Big Business had an epiphany several years ago? Went like this: "Oh! 'Green' means efficiency. Efficiency means more profit! Shit! I've been leaving money on the table! [slaps forehead] What a fool I've been!". I'm afraid that you knee-jerk rantists have been left in the dust by your principals in BigBiz. They got over it.

Rant all you want, but reality's not to be denied. Al Gore didn't claim to have invented the Internet, as the Republican lie would have it. But he deserves full credit for authoring the legislation and getting it passed that liberated the ARPANet from the Pentagon and opened it up to the public as the Internet. Which means that Democrat Al Gore is singlehandedly responsible for creating trillions of dollars in new wealth, an achievement that no Republican politician in history can equal.

That's how it usually goes with Democratic economic policy. Democrats promote general prosperity, while Republican economic policy promotes only the special prosperity of the already-wealthy. Democrats, unlike Republicans, aren't lying when they repeat the old chestnut about the rising tide lifting all boats, and they, unlike Republicans, match words with action.

You're a card carrying member of the proletariat Robert, a full four star reactionary, a standard bearer of the liberal agenda in almost all its manifestations.
