OF COURSE its about victims, as you pointed out when Obama screwed up, memorial day is about those that died!
As for the grave misgivings bit- would you have us believe that they all marched off cheerfully with no concerns about death? That picture dehumanizes them and minimizes what it really cost them. It is a betrayal that only makes armchair warriors like you feel better while 'watching the game' unfold on CNN....
I have read Keillor's words on veterans, and it is DAMN clear that he respects them, and acknowledges their sacrifice a HELL of a lot more than you. You, and your 'concern' are a venal sham, a prop for you to use to insult those that disagree with you. And whats worse, the heavy handed way you wield it makes it clear that your 'concern' is nothing more than a pathetic rhetorical device for you, and you know it.
Your 'outrage' is directed ONLY at those that believe that the soldier's lives are a currency to precious to spend on unjust causes. It is NOT directed at an administration that thinks cash is to precious to spend in protecting them and treating their injuries when they return.
It is you who minimizes their deaths "Hey, more died in a single day in WW2!"
You are a pathetic hypocrite.
