Robert, I have four uncles that served in Vietnam. Three of them have told me stories of them be yelled at by hippy types. One of them even had red paint thrown on him by people screaming "baby killer" in California upon returning to the States. He's told me the story of the ass whipping he and his friend gave that bastard several times. If it happened to three guys from one family, then I'm sure it wasn't a rare occurrence.
