Indeed this is true. However, if everyone is out of work, no one will buy their products. You can't solve a recession without consumers. But by all means, let's do it your way. Let's stop or slow-roll infrastructure projects and see to it that no one starts any for the next 5 years or so. Let's lay off or early retire or part-time as many teachers, cops, firefighters, and local government administrators as we can get away with. Good idea.
