If I borrowed a million dollars to buy a house and my job paid me $20,000 a year, that would be anathema.

Trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see right now. A debt of 87 percent of GDP. All under Obama's current plans. And this is okay with you? This is a reasonable level of "buying on credit?"
