We're told constantly that all we have to do to fix everything is raise taxes.
You fucking liar. IF you are talking about deficit reduction everyone has said for YEARS what we need to do is raise taxes AND CUT SPENDING. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR GOD DAMNED HEAD AND QUIT MAKING STRAWMAN ARGUMENTS.
If you are talking about growing the economy out of a recession, you don't want to do either of those things.
