I'm glad we agree then. Once we are done with Iraq will will insist that the other countries you mentioned disarm od WMD

If the UN gets on board, maybe we can have a treaty (with teeth) making possession of all such weapons illegal.

I'd even join the anti-war crowd in demanding that the US lead the way in destroying it Nuclear Weapons program (The US is already destroying its chemical and biological weapons programs).

But the left won't be satisfied with a world that has no WMD. You know that, and I know that: They really want a weak USA that is a slave and source of money to the ROW. They won't be satisfied until the US disbands its military and as such, they will never be satisfied.

Your argument... "why don't attack N. Korea" first is ridiculous for two reasons:

1) You would say why don't we attack Iraq first if we were on the verge of attacing N. Korea first. So YOUR argument here is really meaningless...

2) We do face a greater threat from Iraq than from N. Korea at this time. That is a fact wether you want to accept it or not.

3)The Jappanese and S. Koreans are at the current time, capable of containing N. Korea without anything but megar help from the US. Iraq on the other hand can only be contained by one Middle Eastern power: Isreal. the Saudi's can't deal with Sadam and his WMD. The Iranians can't. Oh in time they could, by developing WMD of their own but what kind of future is that?.

Do you propose that we allow the Isreali's to take their defense into their own hands against the Iraqi's? I wonder if that would eventually lead to a broader war where the US would have no choice but to envolve itself as MILLIONS would die from the use of all sorts of WMD...
