Supporting increased government spending, abortion-rights, gun-control, environmental legislation, and affirmative action, and opposed to religion in government.
That would be more in line with the original - with the possible exception of creationism and the serving in the military - those are just cheap shots (kinda like your "let's just list the far left's wacky goals")
