Besides, I think you missed my point
Regardless of whatever possibly reasonable positions you may hold on issues like the environment, gun control, etc., the people actually calling the political shots on the Left in this country, i.e. the "mainstream" groups I used as examples, are not so reasonable.
In other words, I was arguing with your above statement that these radical positions are only from the "extreme Left."
But again, if you want to classify NARAL, Greenpeace, and others as "extreme Left," then your position would be consistent.
