I have no problem with SUV's for people who like off roading sports or need them where they live. I don't have a problem with recreational power boats or whatever. I merely re-acted to a snide remark by SDAI (and to which he hasn't responded yet). Certainly after the last gas "crisis" and all our problems in the Middle East, you think there would have been incentives to build vehicles less dependent on oil. That's it. Just being a little sarcastic as the gas prices climb that everyone's going to be paying through the nose for gas. Add to that an increase in ALL fuel costs for transportation across the country added on to the consumer, and you'll have more than a looming "oil crisis"....you'll have an economy tanking.
Just my take on it.
