And if we hadn't invaded Iraq, what would Zarqawi and the other goons be doing right now? Watching the sports channel? Or going from city to city in Afghanistan?
Our invasion of Iraq was the best thing to happen to Zarqawi! We created a place for him and others like him to gain power and noteriety... The filthy little pissant gained power by our actions, and the dumb brutes that rallied to his cause are the ones dying in Fallujah- he is happy because he has a 'cause' to recruit more terrorists.
Saddam was evil, had we killed him in a targeted strike I would be smiling... and I hope everyone involved with the beheadings is shot just once in the intestines and given a lot of time to prepare for the 'paradise' that awaits them..."you want a doctor? Ummm well do you have insurance?"
But the fact remains that this was not a required war (See my post on off topic) this was based on lies, (ok you can call it incompetence if you prefer)... there are real threats we could have attacked with more justification- North Korea and Iran come to mind.
Really, Tom... can you honestly say that these results were worth the cost in lives and money? This has fueled terrorism... not quenched it...
