And what is your excuse for Osama? You just don't get that Zarkowi and his ilk were out to get the US before we ever invaded Iraq. Most of the Iraqis fighting against us bringing democracy to Iraq are either people who were already international terrorists or Saddam's goons terrorizing their own people. The US invasion did not turn a large number of peace loving Iraqis into terrorists. It simply focused the effort of some really dispicable people on US soldiers instead of Iraqi or US civilians. Their failure to chase off Ameriocan soldiers has lead them to return to old tactics and terrorize Iraqi civilians to get the outcome they want (failed elections). The invasion may have turned some peaceful Iraqis against us, but it should be obvious to anyone capable of basic math (which I assume you are) that Saddam's goons numbered far more than the estimated number of insurgents. I personnaly think a hell of a lot of enmity towards Americans in the Shia community stems from the slaughter of them we allowed after GW1 when they did try to tiopple Saddam as we suggested on their own. Another inconenient fact for those who like to pretend Iraqi's didn't want to be liberated and that WMD was the only issue that mattered.
