I'll just inject this: rather than relying on your flippant interpretation of ObL's manifesto, I went to the source. Damn, that guy is windy!
But it boils down to this: Whoever actually wrote and/or delivered that mess, it's obvious that it's written for a specific audience, and that audience is NOT America. Now tell me we should take his inflammatory rhetoric as literally as some people take Pat Robertson's...
And an historical note: "Convert or die" is a tried-and-true tactic, going back to the Saracens on one side, and to the Conquistadors on the other... and the Inquisition in Spain and Portugal, too. An unsurprisingly large number of people, when allowed to take the choice, chose life.
