De-constructing the sound byte "War on Terror"

A cutesie neo-con phrase like the "Axis of Evil" that has turned many an American into a self-absorbed racist................the "war on terror" has it's day in the sunshine of the American media and consciousness.

Ignoring the fact that 3,000 Americans died because of an intelligence failure AND COVER UP, that Bush blocked it's very investigation, that plenty of the final report was blacked out (due to embarrassing truths), it is ALWAYS EASIER to give the red herring and send everyone into a jingoistic fervor and away from where the blame really lies.........

If our CIA and FBI HAD BEEN DOING THEIR JOB, and not simply paper shuffling while ignoring the REAL reason these terrorists came and went freely on our soil.............well maybe there would be no "war on terror', because our heavily funded, over bloated agencies aren't WORTH your tax dollars in the first place.

Easier to stir the masses into senseless racism against ALL muslims, and go in shooting first.....and asking questions later.
Go ahead, eat up the catchey sound byte.
