"Liberals" don't have to spend their time trying to "grok" these things because most recognize that the basic tennent of Islam is submission to Islam and is not a negotiable point. No "groking" required.

Knowing your ememy is a basic military strategy and even the minimally endowed intelligence understands the importance of knowing where a bin Laden is coming from.

And, FYI volumne is not equivalent to content. But then I will defend to the death your right to say whatever it is you are attempting to say. And since I most generally identify with liberal positions I feel obligated to say you aren't even close to any liberal positions I am aware of.
