While the northern Europeans were busy burning Classical Mediterranean civilization, guess who kept it all safe and expanded on it?

Maybe they should take back algebra and medical research. Lousy multiculturalism clutters up our exquisite perfection.

Please keep in mind who builds walls to keep people out: the fearful, the autocrats, the elitists. Please keep in mind they are always breached anyway, by people less "refined", less "pure", less... um... inbred.

This nation gets its vitality from the welcome we extend to new people with new ideas and customs that differ from the average. The average is always changing because of this, and makes America the most dynamic culture this planet has ever seen. I'm not willing to trade all the benefits we have received as a country from those people because a dozen lunatics banded together to commit three heinous crimes in September 2001. I prefer not to cower behind a wall.
