I really am lost at sea here. I really don't understand where you and Robert are coming from.
I seem--seem mind you--to be being taken to task for not properly, and in an organized manner, RESPONDING reasonably to the ravings of a murderous psychotic who has, by his actions, already revealed his methods.
For not coming up with point-by-point rebuttals to demands for our conversion to Islam, our withdrawal into our own borders, our obliteration of capitalism and individual freedom, and complete subservience to people like him.
As Dagny Taggart said to someone else under similar circumstances, "You goddamn fool, do you think I consider their question debatable?"
"Now, Mr. Hitler, I've written this paper which definitely proves that Jews are not in fact an inferior race. If you will note the graphs on pages 50 to 55..."
Nobody expects Hitler or the Nazis to change their views. But what do you say about theoretically good people who do not see the issue as properly addressed unless an opposing point of view is laid on the table with all the i's dotted and t's crossed?
In all of World War II, how many blithering idiots stood up and demanded that we should not fight the war until we understood the origins of the Nazi regime, and their philosophy, and why they felt they needed to eat Europe and Asia?
"Mr. Jeffrey Dahmer has explained his theories on cannibalism and murder. Now Mr. Brosz, can you provide your side of this? Or are you just going to be simplistic and judgmental?"
What do they do to human minds in universities that they deal with evil this way?
What exactly do I need to say to come back to the list that bin Laden gave? What the hell does it say about people who look at bin Laden and say, "well, you know, maybe he has a point."
