A wall would work, and be cheaper than what illegal immigration costs us after about three to five years.
You are far too intelligent to try and draw a moral comparison with the purpose of the Berlin Wall and a wall to control immigration.
I have no problem with tougher enforcements on employers. But simply enforcing the laws on the books now instead of just winking at them would be a good start.
When somebody who slipped over the border blows something up, are you going to be in the vanguard of those screaming at the government about why they didn't DO something about this?
