Once more into the breach and all that.
I 'spose if I'm going to slap Tom for partisanship, I ought to slap you for the transparently partisan "Liberal for a day". Your excercize of putting yourself into the mind of a liberal doesn't say much about liberals, but it reveals volumes about the straw men liberals that conservaitves have convinced themselves (and a critical mass of voters) they're fighting.
It's not surprising that the weakness that I expect to be the downfall of Republicans in 2008 is also the weakness of the Republican President. But where I'm hoping for Republicans to lose, I sure want America to win. I meant what I said about the power of fighting an enemy as he really is. I genuinely believe that Bush's cartoonish portrayal of America's enemies is dangerous to our security.
But I'm not gonna slap you much, SDAI-Tech1. Upon reflection, it's good to see you participating more. If I can ever get you to take this topic seriously, I expect that you'll have much to contribute.
