Communist? Well, sort of...
Although they don't have the intellectual consistency that a real communist movement would have, they don't advocate state ownership of industry (just absolute state control), and they aren't a "front" for any other communist organization. Adopting any three elements of their platform would probably wreck this country economically, and mostly, they attract people who have a bit of trouble with reasoning.
