SDAITech1, you can't be serious? Kerry wasn't left or right or up or down. He was a pure politician with no beliefs of his own, only speeches cold-bloodedly crafted to win votes (and crafted badly, obviously). Kerry's lack of intellectual spine was obvious to everybody and was a major turnoff to everybody, including people who really wanted to support him for no better reason than to defeat Bush. We all watched in disgust as he wasted most of his time just reacting to Republican attacks, while his "platform" was just empty rhetoric crafted to be just a smidgen to the left of every Republican position. Kerry played nothing but defense, and played the patsy for the Republicans in the last election.
But hey, what do I know? You go right on with the "Far Left" and "leftist loonies" and "Liberals, unfortunately, whine a lot". That's all the ammo you'll need in the next election, I'm sure. Hubris? What's that?
