Didn't you see the CNN special Sunday night about the "thoughts" that lead us to this war in Iraq? Seeing as there was very little trustworthy evidence, it appeared everyone was just "thinking" wrong.
And these misguided "leaders" took us to war. As much as you denigrated the left and accused them of what you did from your Loft on High, all I can say (without flaming you), is that your perception is pure conjecture and very much off balance.
The left was and IS against war because it COULD lead to a free-for-all internationally and we have more crazy leaders in control of more crazy bombs than you can ever imagine. Especially when the leaders are religious fanatics and taunt the other leaders.
You say Vietnam is passe`, well you were too young to remember it. And those that DON'T remember are doomed to repeat it.
You have yet to smell the death of large numbers of your countrymen dying for irrational politicians with political motives. You can't see the BIG picture, which would be an all out World War. You just somehow think Bush will wave his magic wand and everyone will acquiece, and the sun will come out and everything will be just dandy.
Gee, I hope no-one PAYS you to think......that would be a waste of money (Mods, do you think this belongs on the Flame Board?)
