I would bet that in 2008 the Democratic Party is going to do the same thing they did last time, i.e. placate the Left during primaries, and then pick someone more toward the center.

You might be right, Tom, and I certainly think that Republicans should make their own plans based on that assumption.

I keep agreeing with you, yet you keep arguing with me. Perhaps you're not as confident that the Republican position is unassailable as you would have us believe?
