you *can* put together a half-decent argument when you want ..
Look, point taken about hard-working and legal German immigrants. The same applies to South Australia and they made a major contribution to the growth of the economy there in the 19th century. (I believe they were escaping religious persecution in Germany, but don't quote me there). I may not like 'em much but that's irrelevant here, there are others I'd mistrust even more (and that's also irrelevant).
Bottom line however is that yes I am on the side of Robert, Mary Anne et al in this debate.
