Let's burn down the Chinese restaurants and the pizza parlors!

Multiculturalism is not the enemy. We have many cultures in the US. It only works to our advantage to use them all.

"Multiculturalism Is Socialist" has become a war cry for people who don't want their kids to have to learn a language that's not English (an argument we have had here). Significantly, they are the same group of ostriches who oppose the teaching of evolution.

When advocates of multiculturalism favor the elimination of Sophocles and Dickens from the canon, they lose me. When opponents of it favor the exclusion of Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Rita Dove, I would expect them to lose you.
