I think Raoul has the typical European mindset on this issue- which I can not understand.

I am totally baffled by it.

He is a great astronomer and astrophotographer. I respect his work there, but I doubt weâ€™ll ever see eye to eye in the political arena .

I have tried to understand his political point of view, but I just canâ€™t. His point of view about Americaâ€™s involvement with Iraq seems crazy to me and frustrates me. To me, I see no difference between Hitler and Saddam. I see no difference with Americaâ€™s response to both of those brutal dictators.

And what drives me the most crazy is how a culture, that lived under the brutal fist of Hitler, can turn their backs on Saddam murdering his people.

Maybe I am just a simple Southern boy, but I donâ€™t understand his point of view on this topic and I probably never will. I donâ€™t know why I argue with him about it, because it is pointless.
