â€¦can stick their heads in the sand and not offer aid to a people suffering under a similar ruthless dictator. I donâ€™t get it Raoul, and maybe I never will.

I see no difference between Hitler and Saddam, or Americaâ€™s involvement with getting rid of both. Neither were a direct threat to America. Both murdered their own people. Both invaded foreign countries. American lives were lost o get rid of both.

I donâ€™t understand the European view on this. It baffles me.

Is it because in one case, America was saving Europeans butts, and in another case America pissing off Europeans by not doing it their way. Is that the difference from a European point of view?

I am really trying to understand Europeâ€™s point of view, but it keeps looking like hypocrisy. It looks like Europe is just pissed at America.
