The problem after the First Gulf war was that the UN actively participated in propping up the Hussain regime...

the only time the UN fights is to maintain the "status quo". No matter HOW IMMORAL THAT STATUS QUO IS.

THat's why all the killing goes on in Africa. The UN can't do anything to stop it because to do so would require that the UN call for the elimination of the ruthless tyrrants who are doing all the killing.

The UN mindset which Raoul proudly represents is one of "just give them time and they will grow into peaceful morons like the Europeans".

Imagine the Europeans teaching the rest of us how to live in peace!

Man I wish we would close the bases in Germany and just let the Russians run rough-shod over that place.
