The UN failed Iraq.

REB — 8/24/2006 6:28:46 PM (archived)

America failed the Iraqis in 1990 when we left Saddam in charge. The UN failed the Iraqis afterwards by taking Oil for Food money in exchange for letting Saddam to do whatever he wanted to his people. Money that was supposed to feed the Iraqis was being used to build huge Palaces for Saddam and his sons.

You don’t see I problem with this? You think it would have been better to let such behavior continued?

It was America that put a stop to this and exposed the UN’s failures. Is that why Europe is so pissed at America?

Anyway, I am proud we not only got rid of Saddam and his sons, we exposed the UN’s failure and scandal.
