I can't go slowly enough. It's too much work.

The point I was making is that the attacks on America, which Bowser alludes to with airplanes and innocent people, long preceded anything we were doing to these people. Preceded Afghanistan, Iraq, Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo, everything. Another poster on another thread listed all the attacks while we had no troops at war anywhere.

I was not justifying any actions by these soldiers, and I have no idea how you came up with that. I was pointing out a ridiculous thesis, and that the chronology was screwed up.

For every soldier that has committed such a crime, assuming it actually happened that way, a thousand have been rebuilding roads and infrastructure, providing medical care, rescuing hostages, defending civilians from terrorists, and performing other positive acts. By the bizarre theory that only our own actions create terrorists, we should be squelching hundreds of terrorists for every one we create.

Or is that concept too hard to follow, too?
