Iraq had invaded Kuwait but left it after Gulf Wat One.

It is totally immoral to pretend the invasion was justified because Iraq had invaded Kuwait 12 years earlier and then had left it and was under sanctions (preventing it from invading again which it did not).

When a thief gets caught, goes to jail and serves his punishment, is it right to rejudge him retroactively with a worse punishment when he did nothing in the mean time to require it?

Sorry, but the US acted shamefully
