re: Nice try
Bowser's idea is that the actions of a tiny minority of troops in Iraq are increasing the terrorism. I pointed out a few objections. Among them:
--On 9/11, we had done none of the things he enumerates, and were attacked anyway.
--The good actions of our troops outnumber the bad ones by orders of magnitude. If evil actions create terror, why is it not assumed that good ones neutralize it?
This isn't about emotion. A bassett hound has emotion. So does Bowser, in spades. This is about reason, and causality.
