You are not alone in that observation.
Still; I am curious to find out why we observe the same thing and see different information.
When I read Genesis, which translates to: The initial stage of a developmental process, I read about "earth" that was without form and void, and I say to myself that the word "earth" can not mean the planet Earth because the planet has a "form" and is composed of "mass" therefore it can not be "void."
How do you understand this "formless earth?"
