Is this satire, hence a double entendre on the post title "forked tongues"? Do you believe what you write here - or should I take this with a lump of salt?
Your comments on evolution are actually not so preposterous; after all it's possible as you say, that we impose a mental construct on the fossil evidence, and on languages too. But what about the age of the world and the universe? Are you allowing the possibility that it could be just a few thousand years old? Bible-believers tend to disparage carbon-dating, and point to the idea of the speed of light being much faster in the past. What do you think of that?
