becomes downright vicious towards outsiders and is very exclusionary. It would appear all the more so in that part of the country where a-n-d is pronouced as a three syllable word; aaaannedddah.

When my youngest son was in a church-run kindergarten he came home upset because he was "born bad" and didn't mean to do that original sin. The child was very upset because the idiot preacher decided to have the kindergarten class fill the pews while he practised his Sunday sermon. He just wanted bodies to fill the seats so he could look out as an audience while he issued his fire and brimstone. He didn't think he had done anything wrong and didn't think those little kids would neither listen to him, nor understand what he was saying. Unfortunaetely my little boy listened and was convinced the preacher was talking to him and he didn't remember doing the bad thing the preacher was telling him he did.

And if you don't think "Daddy, why was I born bad?" won't boil your blood then you are not a parent.
