I'm not too worried about Democrats throwing me in Gulags either, which may seem odd considering that a Democrat was the only one to ever throw U.S. citizens into internment camps.

Right-wing nutballs, long before the internet, made a career of listing "special laws" and "executive orders" that they insisted allowed the government to slam complete totalitarianism down on us at a moment's notice. I have read this kind of crap since college, and somehow, it hasn't happened yet.

Don't you think we have enough conspiracy kookiness around here as it is?
