If we had kept our troop force in afghanistan, fighting the REAL goddamn enemy instead of fighting a made up one in Iraq, searching for WMD that were not there and al-queda ties that were not there... well just maybe the taliban would not have been able to kill that teacher... and who knows, we might have OBL right now... instead we have given him his dream, another chaotic nation ripe for his picking.

We have lost or support among our allies...

We are now, legitimately, viewed worldwide as liars eager for war...

Our troops are now committed to a point where we cannot legitimately use them as a threat against new problems...

There is no forseeable end to the Iraq conflict other than chaos and massive death...

We have lost ~3000 US troops and 10's of thousands of Iraqis have died- FAR more dead than from 9-11...

when we pull out, which even the hardliners are admitting we will have to do, we will lose all our credibility and the fanatics will claim a victory against the world's superpower- increacing their credibility...

So, TB, WHAT THE HELL HAVE WE ACCOMPLISHED?
