The original poem was written by a German about the Nazis. Nobody has "come" for anyone, never mind the tens of thousands of illegals, including Middle Easterners, who pour across our border every year. Let's try and keep it real, okay?
It's painfully obvious that most of what people believe about things like the Patriot Act and security measures has little to do with the actual texts and actions, and more to do with histrionics from people like Olbermann.
I do find it amazing how some of the same people who are insisting we are three inches short of 1984 also seem to believe that there is no such thing as a serious Islamic terrorist threat against this country.
