Only extreme right parties in continental Europa were for the war (you, those who were pro-nazi, antisemitic and today arabophobic and want women back home, immigrants out and only one culture...in a word, the exclusive ones).
We have been invaded during WW2 and have a good idea how wars can become unpredictable. Bush was unable to prove Saddam was a danger to the world, therefore an invasion could not be justified.
We feel vindicated by what happened!
